ACAB（ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS）

◉ Summary
ACAB (ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS) Hoodie.
ACAB stands for "All Cops Are Bastards." It first came into use in Britain between the 1920s and the 1940s. It was never a slogan about good cops and bad cops. It is aimed at the system of policing itself, and at the institution as a whole.
Take the police in Japan as an example. They do not arrest politicians who commit crimes. They tell women being stalked to delete their video evidence. Their day to day is speed traps, and for some reason they talk down to ordinary citizens in the tone you would use with a subordinate. That is how it goes, isn't it? All of this is part of the same system and the same organisation, and that is why we say the whole thing is shit.
The photo used here was taken at Keigo Police Box in Fukuoka City. I had started filming to preserve evidence, and the officers panicked and said, "Please stop filming!" and pointed me to a notice posted outside the box. In other words, it means police officers are never punished, no matter how many inappropriate remarks or mishandled responses they produce. You lot are far more yakuza than the yakuza.
